The overall objective of this project is to promote the viability of the Ivory Coast sugar sector and to ensure its social and environmental management and its contribution to the socio-economic development of the Ivory Coast. More specifically the project aims to support the implementation of the Ivory Coast Sugar Programme, and in particular the National Authorizing Officer, the European Union Delegation and the Ministry of Agriculture (directly through the CAPS).
The Program for Economic Growth within the Agricultural Sector (PCESA) is the third Danish support program for the agricultural sector.
The global goal of the PCESA is to contribute to an increase in productivity, added value and agricultural incomes in order to contribute to national economic growth and poverty reduction.
Component A aims to develop and improve access to consulting services for rural businesses/companies in order to increase productivity, job creation and their expansion.
A travers le projet de “Promotion de chaines de valeurs agricoles“ la Coopération technique Allemande (GIZ) vise à soutenir le gouvernement de la Côte d’Ivoire dans leurs efforts de développer le secteur rural et agricole tout en protégeant la biodiversité.
Le projet se concentre sur des interventions au Sud-Ouest et au Nord du pays, ainsi qu’ un conseil politique au niveau national. Le focus au sud-ouest est sur le développement du zone de nature et économique Taï dans le cadre d’un modèle de développement régional, et au nord sur une promotion d’activités agricoles pérennes.

Über Jahrzehnte ist unzureichend in die landwirtschaftliche Produktion, Beratung, Forschung und die notwendigen Rahmenbedingungen investiert worden, worunter vor allem die kleinbäuerliche Landwirtschaft, häufig von Frauen betrieben, leidet.

Ce programme vise l’amélioration de la sécurité alimentaire et l’accroissement des revenus agricoles des acteurs directs (producteurs/trices, transformateurs/trices et commerçants/es) par la facilitation de l’accès et le fonctionnement des marchés locaux et régionaux (Nigéria notamment) pour les produits agricoles du Bénin. Il contribuera ainsi à termes à l’amélioration des conditions de vie des populations dans les trois départements du sud-est et du centre du Bénin que sont le Plateau, l’Ouémé et le Zou.
