Burkina Faso_Projet global Emploi dans les zones rurales avec un accent sur les jeunes

L'Afrique subsaharienne est le continent qui compte la plus grande proportion de jeunes dans la (70 % de sa population en rapide augmentation sont âgés de moins de 30 ans). Chaque année, 25 millions de jeunes en Afrique entrent sur le marché du travail, dont plus de la moitié (14 millions d'euros) dans les zones rurales. D'ici à 2030, 320 millions de nouveaux emplois devront être créés.

Build EduFinance Training Materials and conduct EduFinance Trainings for OI partner MFIs

 Opportunity International (OI) is building an EduFinance Technical Assistance Facility. This facility assists MFIs in building and expanding their portfolio focused on schools, school fees and other education related activities. An important assistance element regards training staff of partner-MFIs in acquiring, analysing and handling EduFinance clients. Together with ADG, OI have developed training materials divided in nine modules.

The livelihood of a large part of the world's population directly depends on access to land and its secure long-term use. According to estimates by the UN-World Food Programme, the members of small farming families make up half of the 795 million people suffering hunger in 2015. Many landowners and land users have only informal or traditional tenure rights, which are often not sufficiently recognised.

The contract will provide technical assistance services covering 25 countries in Eastern, Southern Africa in order to support interventions falling into three different categories: the macro-level which aims at creating a fertile environment for the private sector to grow, the mid-level which targets interventions at market level, in order to address market failures, enhancing value chains and competitiveness, and the micro-level which works directly with businesses and individuals.
