AFC has been supporting GIZ since 2017 in North West Ghana in strengthening the market-orientated production in seven agricultural value chains (rice, ground nuts, soya, mango, rice, sorghum and vegetables), aiming, among others, at advising some 35.000 farmers on environmentally sustainable good agricultural practices (GAP). The project, which is co-financed by the EU, has set-up some 80 community demonstration plots as one of the main implementation tools to spread innovations. This videos explores the characteristics of this approach and focuses on the GAP related to the production of sorghum.
