Solar Energy (Photovoltaic & CSP) is a core activity for GOPA Tech’s Renewable Energy division, where we provide expertise across the full project cycle. 

From resource assessment, design, and planning of solar PV plants to tendering, construction, commissioning supervision, and O&M technical supervision, every phase is covered.

Over the years we have delivered on landmark projects such as the 1800 MWac Solar PV in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai and provided Renewable Energy Consultant services for Dubai EXPO 2020. Tech’s experience extends to utility-scale, rooftop, and agriPV projects across the globe. We also specialize in floating PV technology.

Wind Energy Tech’s specialises in multi-megawatt wind turbines and wind parks, including wind hybrid power systems. GOPA Tech’s Renewable Energy division manages the full wind energy project cycle. Our core strength lies in wind resource evaluation, early wind mapping, and extensive measurement campaigns. Over the past years, we have operated more than 34 wind measurement stations and initiated 29 more, utilising both traditional systems and Lidar/Sodar. 

GOPA Tech’s project portfolio includes wind resource and energy yield assessments in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, UAE, and Saudi Arabia, alongside feasibility studies for wind projects in Ethiopia.
