Die „nachhaltige Modernisierung“ der chinesischen Landwirtschaft ist auch ein wichtiges Element zur Sicherung der Ernährung.
The Microfinance Programme aims to enhance access to long-term refinancing in local currency for Nigerian microfinance banks (MFBs) to enable these institutions to improve the outreach and product range for MSMEs in the urban and rural space and to better serve their target clients. This will have an impact on job creation and income enhancement among the MFB’s target group, the economically active poor in Nigeria. This goal will be achieved by awarding subordinated loans to sustainable Nigerian MFBs.

Das übergeordnete Ziel des Projektes ist: Der Agrarsektor der Ukraine wird durch ein verbessertes praxisorientiertes Wissen und durch verbesserte Fertigkeiten von Absolventen landwirtschaftlicher Colleges gestärkt.
Das Projektziel lautet: Methoden und Inhalte der praxisnahen Ausbildung an landwirtschaftlichen Colleges haben sich verbessert, werden durch die Teilnehmer genutzt und werden kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt.
Die Indikatoren des Projektes sind:
AFC’s Land right expert Jean Aholou participated in March at the World Bank’s 2017 conference on Land and Poverty in Washington. The focus this year was on Responsible Land Governance: Towards an Evidence-Based Approach. Jean Aholou presented a paper based on AFC’s experiences in Benin in the KfW “Investment Fund” project which focusses on securing rural land rights in northern Benin. The project uses modern technology to develop land-use plans in the Atacora-Donga region in order to confirm land rights.
AFC Agriculture and Finance Consultants is currently expanding its activities in the area of agricultural and value chain financing. For this purpose, we are looking for short-term and long-term experts with solid work experience in this field as well a regional experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe and South-East Asia.
