Since July 2014, „E Go Better“, a financial literacy series, with six episodes is publicly available online (on Youtube). The aim is to provide basic financial education to smallholders, microentrepreneurs in an educative but entertaining manner.

The series was commissioned and financed by the EU and developed and produced in the frame of GIZ ”Pro-Poor Growth and Promotion of Emplyoment (SEDIN) Programme”. The consortium AFC-GOPA-ADG who is implementing components of that programme supported the producers in the selection of appropriate topics and contents. Furthermore our expert team gave advice in how to translate these topics into understandable plots.

Thanks to various ambitious amateur performers, the producers achieved to create an authentic series, about the daily life concerns of the rural low income population in the region of Plateau State in Nigeria and provided suggestions how they could benefit from microfinance.

Before finalizing the videos, they have been showed to the targeted audience during movie road shows. Their feedback was taken into account for the final cut of these series.

The outcome of this fruitful cooperation can be studied under the following links. Enjoy watching!
