Food Security through Sustainable Growth – Farming with Limited Resources. This was the motto of the Global Forum For Food and Agriculture (GFFA) in 2012. The GFFA was hosted by the German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection in collaboration with partners from industry, business, science, and politics. „The Green Week has in recent years developed into a global forum of international renown for agricultural and food policies. The Agriculture Ministers' Summit as its political highlight and the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) have long been regarded as the green Davos. The results of this high-level Summit, which will also be attended by many representatives from developing and emerging countries, will provide important input for the forthcoming United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro (Rio+20) in June 2012", said Federal Agriculture Minister Ilse Aigner.   During two days expert panels highlighted various aspects on food security in the context of sustainable growth and gave a good input for further discussions among the participants. A chance to meet friends and partner from ongoing projects all over the world was given on the Cooperation Market, held on Saturday the 21st of January. AFC Consultants presented news and information from on-going projects in its fields of work, especially in Agriculture and Agribusiness. This was a great opportunity to meet with the official representatives from Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Kenya, Dubai, Angola and the Maldives. The presentation of AFC Consultants aroused the strong interest of national and international experts in the activities of AFC Consultants and in their cooperation with AFC.   If you are interested to learn more about worldwide job opportunities with AFC Consultants International, don’t hesitate to contact Barbara.braun [at] afci.de
