Technical Assistance to support the Bangladeshi Bank Training Institutions

Qualifications and skills University diploma related to banking, finance, public sector management, economics or a comparable field Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of Bangla is an advantage Excellent written and spoken communication skills General Professional Skills Deep understanding of all aspects of bank training with a special knowledge of the challenges in SME financing. Highly competent in all aspects of project cycle management. Highly competent in all aspects of the preparation and implementation of an organisational development strategy. Specific Professional Experience At least 10 years’ experience in bank training of which at least 5 years gained in a senior position in a central bank training institution or human resource development department of a central bank. Experience in institutional capacity development and skills transfer projects. Experience in the team leadership of at least two comparable (in terms of scale, sector and size) complex projects. Experience in the challenges inherent to central banks in the transition from a nationalised to a privatised banking sector Previous working experience in South-Asia is an advantage.
Qualifications: 
MBA or Master other relevant University Degree Previous CV based experience in bank training in the fields of scoring systems, credit information systems and risk limit systems Previous work experience in Bangladesh and or in an EU funded project would mean an asset  
Start / Duration: 
Full-time position for 18 person-months and then intermittent 12 person-months as required over the duration of the project. Based in Dhaka but with travel around Bangladesh.
