SME Training and Coaching Expert for Strengthening Public Finances and Financial Markets

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen financial and fiscal governance systems that enhance macro-fiscal stability and economic development. While supporting the government’s reform agenda, the project will focus on increasing macro-fiscal stability and economic development by contributing to improving public financial management and accountability, non-oil public revenues, the AML/CFT system and financial sector stability

Qualifications: 
  • University degree (bachelor’s and/or master’s) in Banking and Finance or Business Administration or other relevant fields
  • Knowledge of Arabic C2 (5 out of 10 points) and English C2 (5 out of 10 points) in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
  • 6 years of professional experience in financial systems development, thereof 4 years of experience in SME finance
  • 6 years of professional experience in providing coaching and training to staff of financial intermediaries on SME finance product development and related processes
  • 4 years of work experience in MENA region (Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen)
  • 3 years of experience working on DC projects
Start / Duration: 

The duration of the assignment is envisaged to begin with the contract award and end after 24 months (latest: 11/2024)
