AlUla Pilot Farms, Agricultural Training, and Advisory Services Project

Project Background:

The Saudi Arabian Royal Commission of AlUla (RCU) has launched the project tender „Pilot Farms, Agricultural Training, and Advisory Services Project“ for AlUla County. It aims to develop the awareness, technical capacities and competencies of agricultural value chain stakeholders through providing knowledge for improved agricultural productivity to fulfill a variety of functions, such as linking smallholder farmers to high-value and export markets and promoting environmentally sustainable production techniques

Positions in reference:

A) One Agricultural Project Manager (team leader)

B) Seven Agricultural Engineers with one of the following specializations:

• Crop production: date palm management
• Crop production: perennial tree crops
• Crop production: vegetable crops
• Crop protection (integrated pest management)
• Soil and water management, irrigation
• Livestock
• Agricultural extension and advisory services

C) Two Agricultural Technicians (crop production)
