Promoting growth and export-oriented Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Rwanda

The overall objective is an improved support for Rwandan exporters in the field of financial services through the implementation of de-risking instruments.

Objectives

  • Comprehensive study of the Rwandan export market to gain a deep understanding of the current situation and the needs of the different stakeholders.
  • Based on the study findings, development and implementation of suitable de-risking products for exporters
  • Providing training to Development Bank of Rwanda, PFI’s staff and exporters in the field of export project management

Tasks of the expert

Provide customized trainings in technical and financial management of export projects and techniques for financing international supply chains to Development Bank of Rwanda. In addition, train exporters on how to improve resource management capabilities.

 

Qualifications: 
  • Min. bachelor’s degree in finance and/or educational science, vocational education or equivalent
  • Min. 5 years of professional experience in skills and curricula development, training needs assessment and training in the finance sector
  • Min. 3 training-projects executed in the field of export management
  • Previous work in East Africa (minimum 2 projects)
  • Good organizational skills (one of the core soft skills)
  • Fluent in English
