Promoting growth and export-oriented Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Rwanda

The overall objective is an improved support for Rwandan exporters in the field of financial services through the implementation of de-risking instruments.

Objectives

  •  Comprehensive study of the Rwandan export market to gain a deep understanding of the current situation and the needs of the different stakeholders.
  • Based on the study findings, development and implementation of suitable de-risking products for exporters
  • Providing training to Development Bank of Rwanda, PFI’s staff and exporters in the field of export project management

Development and implementation of suitable de-risking products for exporters

 

Qualifications: 
  • Minimum Master in Administration or equivalent in finance/banking or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in the financial sector and the development of de-risking instruments
  • Must have successfully developed and implemented at least 5 de-risking instruments in minimum 3 projects in financial institutions
  • Must have previous experience (minimum 3 projects) as Project Manager / Team Leader in the banking sector
  • Experience in the export industry
  • Previous work in East Africa (minimum 2 projects)
  • Good organizational skills (one of the core soft skills)
  • Fluent in English
Start / Duration: 

3 years. The start date will likely be in Q1 and the exact date will determined after receiving the tender document
