Consultant (w/m/d) Agriculture und Agribusiness

AFC Agriculture & Finance Consultants has been active as an international, private consulting firm in the field of Technical and Financial Cooperation for almost 50 years and currently implements more than 80 projects in 52 countries. Our clients are internationally renowned organisations such as GIZ, KfW, EIB, EU, ADB and IFC.

We currently have around 60 staff working in our Bonn office and more than 880 project staff and short-term experts working for us worldwide. AFC is a member of the GOPA Consulting Group - the largest German consulting group in the field of development cooperation.

Building on over 40 years of experience in global development cooperation, we have continuously expanded and deepened our activities in the agricultural sector over the past years. AFC's main focus is on agriculture, agribusiness and financial sector development.

As part of the further expansion of our team, we are looking for a Consultant (f/m/d) for Agriculture & Agribusiness.

This position is based in our very well connected and modernly equipped Bonn headquarters, with regular assignments in the project regions in the context of advisory and backstopping missions.

Core responsibilities include:

• Project management (identification, fact-finding, preparation of proposals, technical and strategic implementation, monitoring and evaluation);
• Development of substantive concepts in the field of agricultural value chains;
• Establishment and maintenance of a professional network to the different donor organizations and the target group of the projects, the consortium partners and the cooperating experts.
